Carlos E. S. Bernardes (Lab's Head)

Carlos Bernardes got his PhD in Chemistry from Faculdade de Ciências, Universidade de Lisboa (FCUL), for the development and use of calorimetric methods for the study of polymorphism in organic compounds. As a Post-Doc at CQE@IST started using Molecular Dynamics Simulations (MD) to study ionic liquids and solid materials. Currently, he is a researcher at Departamento de Química e Bioquímica, FCUL, studying crystal nucleation processes using theoretical and experimental methods.
