Co-funder of Essient Photonics (EP), a University of Glasgow spin-out company (the first company to be spun out of research funded through the Proof of Concept Fund; supported by Scottish Enterprise's innovative Proof of Concept awards and POND Ventures Partners Ltd.). Products: Driverless Optical Modulator, Optical Detector & Electronic Amplifier.
