Research Interests 

Organic Chemistry; Medicinal Chemistry; Glycosciences.

Development of innovative, efficient and clean synthetic approaches towards new potentially bioactive sugar derivatives.

A current focus of research is the synthesis and design of nucleoside analogs and nucleotide mimics of potential therapeutic interest as inhibitors of relevant disease-associated enzymes or nucleotide-dependent events.
